Post by Ice Paw on Fri Jul 01, 2011 6:25 pm

Any questions you have about the Uplift setting, but I am not in chat? Post them here!

However, please consult our Wiki over here first. I can and will re answer questions, but at least take a look.http://uplift.wikispaces.com/Home

I dare to ask the ulterior motive of roleplaying via Forum &/or Tegaki. Both are quite different, of course, but I'm curious as to, not only the reason of the division but as to when this would occur as well.

Note: I'm not complaining!

As to questions related directly to the setting, I'll most patiently wait for a Chat, rather than individualize every question, as one would clearly lead to another & another ...

Just additional avenues to RP in the setting.

Not really a division. The RPs in the forum, will be sidestories, and may, individually, take place in any given timeframe, past, present, or even future.

The characters need not even be those from the Tegaki group, and (in some cases) will be required to not be.

Also, if you mean... why have a forum, this is kind of like... headquarters for any of my really serious projects, heh.

Of course. I had forgotten the advantage of roleplaying with various different characters this way.
And how the creation of a HQ makes a lot of sense as well.
I'm illuminated.

I'm just hopeful Tegaki-Uplift won't fall onto forgetfulness. Nor the forum. *stares unblinkingly onto your nose*

I don't plan to let it. I much more intend to use the Tegaki group, personally.

Actually, you are more likely to see a mixing of the two, as we draw in the tag, and link back to the forum XD

lol

Sometimes that could be better. Much have I seen Tegaki roleplay being left in the air with no continuity. Text may ease a bit. Although, it will immediately lack the visual component I so like. Sometimes it's just better to do quick & clear sketches rather than paint everything.
Oh well, we'll see in the future. School comes first, so I'll most likely disappear again by September.

Do the animals on Uplift have made villages, or cities even, that have a similar structure than human ones? For instance, if they'd make a village, would they make an inn? Animal adapted and all?
Also, would they use old villages of humans and stuff, for the same purpose? To live, work, trade, etc? (I mean, I guess yes because of the ruins but still, I want to know if they'd use inns in particular)

To be honest, I imagined the village where the main action takes place is indeed crowded with familiar faces, an Inn, Grocers and so on...
I guess it's pretty much an open world, where we add most of it's elements.

Still a good question though!
